Well, Zombie Walk was a great experience, and the first time I brought my children. While I would say it is mostly an 'adult' event, (not that anyone was acting like an adult), the little ones had a great time, and didn't seem to mind the rain. However, I did have to leave a bit early because they got cold and hungry,....certainly not the event organizers fault. (the weather decided to be uncooperative this year,...wahhh) My thoughts on bringing out more people to future Zombie Walks would include having a couple of food vendors, (hot dogs, gyros, etc.), and take a cut to help fund the event. Also, an inflatable play center for the young ones to jump on.....charge a dollar and let them go crazy. Keeps them out of everyone's hair. (and make-up) Of course, what do I know.
On a sour note, I understand that someone broke a sink. (or maybe a toilet,...I forget) Either way,....dudes, man up and take responsibility. I was told these guys & gals, who gave their time and talent, are going to be responsible for this. I dropped them a twenty,...and hope that helps. Shit happens, and I'm sure it was probably just a mishap, but the people there shouldn't have to shoulder the financial responsibility. Make-up, latex, equipment, etc., costs money,...don't be such a bunch of cheap screws. Help out,... the karma alone will make you a better, (and happier), human being.
There ya go,....my rant for the day. Otherwise, thanks to everyone there who made it such a fun event. And congrats to the couple who got married there as zombies. You probably don't realize how apropos that is. (smile)
